Dr. Adam Highberger, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Adam B. Highberger practices at both the Indiana and Blairsville locations. He followed his father, Dr. Bruce C. Highberger, into the dental field. Dr. Adam completed his undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University, where he played for four years on the Men's Basketball team. He completed his dental training at West Virginia University, where he graduated in the top of his class with merit. Following graduation, Dr. Adam completed an intensive General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center where he received additional training in the area of root canals, implant therapy, dentures, extractions, and periodontal procedures. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry, and prides himself on immersing in continuing education that allows him to stay up to date with procedural techniques and technology.
Born and raised in Blairsville, Dr. Adam enjoys spending time with his family- wife, twin boys Greyson and Weston, and daughters Arie and Evie. In addition to his family, he is an avid outdoorsman and likes to golf, hunt and ski. He is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to treating you and your family!
Dr. Marco L. Pilotta, D.M.D.
Dentist
Dr. Marco L. Pilotta practices at both locations at East Market Family Dental. Dr. Marco went to the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate bachelor degree in Neuroscience. While in undergrad, he performed worldwide with a renowned choir known as the Heinz Chapel Choir. Dr. Marco stayed at the University of Pittsburgh for 4 more years and completed his dental DMD degree at the School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Pilotta completed an intensive General Practice Residency program at the VA Medical Center where he received additional training in the area of root canals, implant therapy, dentures, extractions and periodontal procedures. He is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, and devotes many hours to continuing education to expand the services he offers to his patients.
Dr. Brandon Drenning, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Brandon Drenning joined our team at East Market Family Dental in 2022. He is originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania and graduated from Juniata College with a degree in Biology. He was a member of the Men's Basketball team while at Juniata. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Drenning obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Similar to Drs. Highberger and Pilotta, he completed an extensive General Practice Residency program at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital where he gained experience in all areas of general dentistry and managing medically complex patients.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association and is currently seeking his fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Drenning enjoys spending time outside exercising and playing sports, attending concerts and live music events, visiting art and history museums, cooking, and spending time with his family. His niece and nephew, Gia and Jase, are his pride and joys. He is currently accepting new patients and is excited to serve the dental needs of the community,
Dr. Christina M. Highberger, D.D.S.
Dr. Christina M. Highberger is one of three dentists at East Market Family Dental. She completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University. Based on academic merit, Dr. Christina was admitted into dental school at WVU one year early and graduated with honors. Dr. Christina met her husband and fellow dentist Dr. Adam Highberger while in dental school. She worked under the mentorship of her father-in-law, Dr. Bruce C. Highberger, following dental school and is excited to serve the patient base in Indiana and Westmoreland counties. Dr. Christina loves to work with children and apprehensive patients to deliver great dental care in a caring and efficient manner.
She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry and is very active in continuing education courses to keep her dental skillset current with new techniques and materials. Born and raised in Huntington, WV, Dr. Christina enjoys spending time with family - husband, twin boys, Weston and Greyson, and daughter Arie - and friends, exercising, and being outdoors. She is currently accepting new patients and is excited to meet you and your family!
Jodie
Operations Manager
With many years in the dental field, Jodie handles daily operations at both of our locations at East Market Family Dental. She is a welcoming face who prides herself in making your family's experience at our office as smooth as possible! Although she won’t be directly handling your dental care, Jodie works to make sure our team has the needed support to best treat our patients and keep the office running smoothly.
A graduate of WCCC and Kaplan University, Jodie loves making your dental experience as smooth as possible administratively. Outside of work, Jodie enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking delicious meals, and volunteering for her church and local animal shelter.
Tara
Insurance Specialist
Tara is our insurance specialist at the Indiana and Blairsville locations. She will be managing your insurance as you undergo treatment with our doctors and team at East Market Family Dental. She is passionate about making your experience at our office as easy and stress free as possible. Tara has many years of experience working with scheduling and dental insurances and will be a valuable asset to you and your family while communicating with the doctors at our office.
She is a graduate of West Virginia University and lives locally in Indiana with her husband, Brett, and her daughter, Halle. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, spending time outdoors and crafting in her spare time.
Krista
Practice Coordinator
Krista wears many hats in our practice, helping with patient communication, insurance coordination and many other administrative duties of the office. She has worked in the dental field for over 19 years. She has worked as an office manager for 17 years and practice coordinator for over 2 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her kids, Laney and Grant, and her husband, Mike. She also enjoys camping, riding side by sides and being with her friends. If you and your family have any insurance or scheduling questions, Krista is always there to make sure all of your problems are resolved in a timely manner!
Karsen
Appointment/Insurance Coordinator
Karsen works as our appointment and insurance coordinator at our Indiana location. Her journey has taken her across the U.S. and even abroad, where she immersed herself in new cultures before finding her true passion in the dental field. In her role, Karsen coordinates insurance and works diligently to ensure each patient has a positive visit from start to finish. Although you may not always converse with Karsen during your visit, rest assured that she's working on your behalf with your insurance company to maximize your dental benefits for you and your family.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys reading, hiking with her dog, and staying connected with family and friends across the country.
Lacey
Hygienist
Lacey is one of our talented dental hygienists at East Market Family Dental. She received her training at Westmoreland County Community College. She has been in practice for many years and is very skillful and gentle while doing cleanings for our patients. Lacey thoroughly enjoys getting to you know you and your family as you grow with us as patients.
In her spare time, Lacey loves spending time with her family and friends, especially her husband Brad and her daughter Abbey. They enjoy spending time outdoors and exercising. She looks forward to meeting you and your family at your next cleaning appointment!
Andrea
Hygienist
Andrea is one of our wonderful hygienists at the Indiana office. She prides herself on providing gentle and thorough cleanings to all of her patients. Andrea brings many years of experience to our dental team. She is excited to meet you and your family as become a part of our dental family!
In her spare time, Andrea loves spending time her husband and three children, Conner, Logan and Jaycee. She loves being outdoors and also is an avid hunter.
Angie
Hygienist
Angie is one of the Registered Dental Hygienists at EMFD, receiving her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from WCCC in 2012. As a hygienist, she prides herself on meeting patient's needs and concerns in a thorough, yet gentle manner. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia, and is committed to ensuring patient's ultimate comfort providing effecting numbing with a gentle touch.
Angie and her husband, Chris, reside in Blairsville. Originally from the state of Indiana, Angie grew up in Greensburg from a young age. One of five children, family has always been the most important thing to her. She enjoys visiting siblings who are spread out over the country, especially her parents who now live in Arizona. In her spare time, Angie loves to play piano and listen to all types of music. She enjoys spending time with her husband and looks forward to starting a family of her own soon.
Laura
Hygienist
Laura is one of our fantastic hygienists at East Market Family Dental. She completed her hygiene training at WCCC in 2017. She prides herself in making you feel very comfortable during your cleaning appointment while offering very thorough treatment. Laura works at both of our locations - Blairsville and Indiana.
Outside of hygiene, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their two dogs. She is an avid hunter, and enjoys both deer and bird hunting each season. She is also a professional photographer in her spare time, and shoots many local weddings and events when she's not in the dental office.
Brenda
Hygienist
Brenda is one of our wonderful hygienists at EMFD. She obtained her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Westmoreland County Community College in 2004. Brenda is compassionate to patient needs and prides herself on providing her patients with thorough, yet gentle cleanings.
Outside of work, Brenda enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and their four children - Trent, Kyla, Johnathan, and Blakely. She likes fishing and country music. Brenda also enjoys watching hummingbirds at her feeders, especially when she can get them to eat out of her handheld feeder.
Leah
Hygienist
Leah is one of our great dental hygienists at East Market Family Dental. She takes pride in helping her patients achieve and maintain great oral hygiene and loves getting to know them in the process. She graduated from WCCC with an associates degree in Dental Hygiene.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Izzy.
D'Lynne
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
D'Lynne is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) who received extensive training to help place fillings, make temporary crowns, take impressions, among many other aspects of dentistry. With over 20 years in the dental field, D'Lynne brings much experience to our family of patients. She loves serving her patients every day and loves to see people smile after a dental appointment.
In her spare time, D'Lynne enjoys spending time with her family, visiting the beach, and hanging out with friends. She is excited to meet you and make your next dental experience a great one!
Kate
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Kate is one of our Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) at East Market Family Dental. As an EFDA, Kate completed an advanced program that gave her ample training to expand her role as a dental assistant, including fabricating temporary crowns, placing and polishing dental fillings, as well as many other advanced tasks. She loves working with patients to try to make their dental experience as stress free as possible.
In her spare time, Kate loves spending time with her family and friends, skiing, and being outdoors. She is excited to meet you and your family during your next dental appointment!
Natalia
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Natalia works as an Expanded Functions Duties Assistant (EFDA) at our Indiana Location. As an EFDA, Natalia has experience taking impressions, placing white fillings, performing bleaching procedures, as well as several other duties at our Indiana office. She prides herself in making you feel very comfortable during your dental procedure.
Outside of work, Natalia likes spending time with her fiance, Zack. She is an avid bowler, and travels for bowling tournaments across the country.
